This is an Akae Kozanji soroban kyusu made by the Kiyomizu Sencha tea ceremony pottery, Ryugaku.

The name comes from the shape of the body and the knob, which look like the beads on an abacus.
The design of this teapot is fun to see the pattern of people drawn in vivid colors. It makes for a comfortable teatime.

The name comes from the fact that there is a field in Kozanji Temple where the oldest tea was cultivated in Japan.
This is a popular design for tea utensils.

A beautiful world of pale colors expressed by Shoami#39;s reliable painting skills and techniques is unfolding.
The long, slender handle. The painting on the lid and body continues.

The inside is pure white. The hole for the tea strainer is straight.
The teapot was made for Sencha tea ceremony utensils.

It is an elegant tea cup with a pale red painting of the quot;caricature of birds and beastsquot; that has been handed down in Tsugao and Kozan Temple in Kyoto.
This healthy tea ceremony utensil would make a perfect gift for a celebration.
